FOULING RESISTANT

for low and high salinity wastewater

For water recycling systems

Designed especially for food and drink factory water recycling systems and other challenging environments, these fouling resistant membrane elements provide exceptional capability.

The BW-FR models key feature is their ability to cope with high salinity wastewater containing neutralised clean-in-place solutions or water softener regeneration waste.

The LP-UFR models are designed especially for low and ultra low pressure operation with no compromise of permeate quality.

The low fouling property of these membrane elements is imparted by the modified surface charge of the membrane surface, which reduces the adhesion of organic molecules – usually the first stage in the formation of a biofilm.

Typically these products are used for the recycling of:

  • dairy wastewater
  • creamery wastewater
  • maltings wastewater
  • vegetable processing wastewater
  • brewery wastewater
  • ballast and bilge water treatment for discharge
